i'm back!

long time no see, again! i've been traveling with family for the past week and a half and have been recovering from post-travel depression since then LOL. we were in new york to see family and do some regular touristy new york things, and i got to see some friends from college too!

the highlight of the trip was that i attended my first ever anime convention, and it was a whole lot of fun!! i got an item signed by bernadetta's voice actor and i went around the ENTIRE artist alley to scope out all the beautiful fangoods. there were so many artists who i've followed for a while, and so being able to see them in person and purchase their work made me really happy. some of them were very sweet too!

i also had some stickers printed cheaply at a store to give away for free during the con, which was a fun time.. i mostly did so with the artists i bought from because i am nothing if not shy to approach strangers. but it was a really nice experience to be around other fans of things i love, who were also doing all these things (making art, forming friendships, giving stuff out) inspired by their fannishness.

what else... i had some little charms made of my boy the cupit and sent them out to five friends who asked for them! i'm quite happy with him, and the friends who've already received him seem to be too.

it's been a nice break but i'm excited to get back into developing my site!!! i have lots of mume updates to share so i will probably start there, and see how i feel after that. it's nice to be home!
