danny pudi is an american actor and also the most beautiful person i’ve ever seen in my life. you might know him as abed nadir from community, brad bakshi from mythic quest, huey in the ducktales reboot (larry, he's in ducktales), or anything else he’s starred in.

he is half polish and half indian, the child of two immigrants, and speaks polish (cool!). he also likes to run marathons (and i guess just run in general). he has a wife and two kids and i hope all four members of that beautiful family never have to see this page.

i like him not only because he has the prettiest shiniest eyes ever, but also because i think he’s a skilled actor (his microexpressions...! my screenshots do not do him justice, you must see him act) and seems like a stand-up fellow from his interviews.

i particularly like this one short film he made called RUNNING where he wrangles with what he knows of his father, who was absent most of his life, and touches on topics like family and belonging and his cultural background and facing our complexes head on and trying to making peace with them.

while we don't directly overlap in background very much at all, that’s a lot of stuff i like to think about too (i wrote a big ol comic for my student thesis on it, even), and it’s always nice to see someone openly wrangle with those ideas too, find catharsis or enjoyment in making art about it. :)
